Four microneedling sessions for enlarged pores and uneven texture, after a consultation spent explaining that pores do not close.

Enlarged pores are the request we most often have to reframe. Pore size is largely genetic and structural, so nothing shrinks a pore permanently; what treatment can do is reduce the thickening around the opening and improve the collagen beneath it so it casts less of a shadow.
We said that first, and she booked anyway, which is the right order.
Four microneedling sessions five weeks apart at 1.0 to 1.5 mm, with a retinoid at home between sessions and a strict pause on it for five days either side of each appointment.
The photograph is at sixteen weeks from the first session. The pores on the inner cheeks and nose read smaller and the surface is more even. They are still clearly there in the photograph, because they are still clearly there in person.
Individual results vary. This is a maintenance relationship rather than a fix: without the home routine and a session or two a year, texture drifts back within about eighteen months.
Every photograph on this page is of a real client of the clinic, taken in standardised lighting at a fixed distance, unretouched and unfiltered, and published only where written consent for publication is on file. Consent can be withdrawn at any time and the case is removed the same day.
A case study describes one person’s course of treatment. It is not a prediction. Outcomes depend on anatomy, skin type, age, medical history and how closely aftercare is followed, and no treatment we offer is permanent or guaranteed. What a consultation can tell you is whether a treatment is likely to help you — which is where every plan here started.
