What this discipline actually covers.
Our laser and energy-based treatments run on a Candela GentleMax Pro, an Ultraformer III and a Morpheus8, operated by a certified laser technician under physician-supervised protocols.
Device choice matters less than settings. The GentleMax Pro carries two wavelengths — a 755 nm alexandrite and a 1064 nm Nd:YAG — and choosing correctly between them is what makes hair reduction and pigment work safe across the full range of skin tones. Every course begins with a patch test.
Light-based treatment and sun exposure are in direct conflict, which is why we start most courses in the autumn and ask for broad-spectrum SPF 50 on any treated area for at least four weeks afterwards.
