Three Nd:YAG sessions for visible facial vessels, with the diffuse pinkness improved rather than erased and maintenance built into the plan.

She had been told for years that she simply blushed easily. What she had was fixed background redness with a network of fine broken capillaries across the cheeks and the outer nostrils, which is a vascular finding and does not settle on its own.
We treated the visible vessels with the 1064 nm Nd:YAG across three sessions four weeks apart. She was warned that treated vessels darken and look worse for about a week before they clear, and that the diffuse pinkness underneath would improve rather than disappear.
The photograph is at twelve weeks. The larger vessels have gone, the overall redness is calmer, and a background of mild pinkness remains — which is exactly what we said would happen.
The other half of this was not the laser. She is on a rosacea-appropriate routine, she has given up the very hot showers, and she wears SPF 50 daily. Without those the vessels come back.
Individual results vary, and redness is one of the conditions where maintenance matters more than the course. We book a review at twelve months rather than pretending it is finished.
Every photograph on this page is of a real client of the clinic, taken in standardised lighting at a fixed distance, unretouched and unfiltered, and published only where written consent for publication is on file. Consent can be withdrawn at any time and the case is removed the same day.
A case study describes one person’s course of treatment. It is not a prediction. Outcomes depend on anatomy, skin type, age, medical history and how closely aftercare is followed, and no treatment we offer is permanent or guaranteed. What a consultation can tell you is whether a treatment is likely to help you — which is where every plan here started.
